Redefining the Report: An Innovative Approach

The Rajasthan Government, in collaboration with UNESCO, is developing a Community-Driven Cultural Tourism Circuit Master Plan for Western Rajasthan, focusing on the cities of Jodhpur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, and Bikaner. This initiative is designed to both conserve and promote the region's rich tangible and intangible cultural heritage. The core of this project is to create a report that not only documents this plan but also serves as a captivating and engaging publication.

The project’s main goal was to transform a standard government report into a compelling, book-like publication. Our team focused on infusing the report with fun and contemporary design elements, revitalizing a format that is often perceived as dry and academic. We paid close attention to colors, typography, and layout to ensure the final product was highly readable and visually appealing. By thoroughly researching existing reports and other resources, we developed a visual and image strategy that aligns with modern design principles. This effort, encouraged by UNESCO, aims to create a series of interactive and intuitive publications, ultimately elevating the project's branding and enhancing its impact. The master plan and book have been finalized and are currently under review by UNESCO and the Government of Rajasthan.
