Crafting a Typographic Identity for a Monograph
IIn collaboration with AL and Sameep Padora, We had designed a small booklet for his new project and now the main task was to finalize a cover which stood out and also was focused on how Sameep worked, we had to designed multiple iterations to select a theme for this book.
How can we keep the branding intact but also not visible?
Driven by a core understanding that typography would be the central visual element, our approach was deeply rooted in research and innovation. We explored the expressive potential of letterforms, experimenting with a diverse range of styles, weights, and arrangements across numerous iterations. Throughout this creative exploration, we remained mindful of Architecture Live's established branding, ensuring a cohesive visual identity for the publication.
Our design process was characterized by a rigorous exploration of visual concepts, resulting in the development of over a dozen distinct cover designs. Each option presented a unique typographic solution, aiming to capture the essence of Sameep Padora's work from different perspectives.
